Craig Burton - Synth / Samples / Sporadic Singing / Sensationalism

Amazing is a word.
Geek is another word.
Apocalypse fetishist is two words.
Immortality is a word and a dream.
Robot is a word.
Craig likes robots and machines.
Sometimes he feels like one.
Most of the time he is a happy optimistic human being.
If mechanical is as bad as it gets, he's doing okay.

In service to the Mechanical Sun, Craig utilizes  his control over digital audio synthesis manipulating keyboards and synthesizers as well as the Cock Doctor, (The source of our beats and rhythms), in order to spread the word.

Throughout his musical history Craig has played in various bands called Zoe From London, Drag and Masters of the Universe. Up until recently he has primarily played bass guitar, then, the Mechanical Sun commanded 'Dance' and dance the disciples did. Trance was the order of the day and for this Craig picked up a synth and behold he did begin to glow. Psy-trance is a huge influence over Craig's playing style. He also has a fond love of emotive acoustic music. "Keep it simple, make it  phat" was the mantra of his brother, a fellow musician and one which he increasingly adopts and works to.

When not playing music Craig can be found doing other things in a variety of places.

Work is one. He enjoys his job which is an excellent thing to be able to say.

Sometimes he likes to climb trees or cycle. These things, he says, they keep him sound of body

All the better to serve the sun.

Sometimes he likes to read or wander without purpose, perhaps, discuss philosophies of sorts with like-minded folk amidst the trees surrounded by nature until the dawn light shines and the birds begin to sing. These things, he says, they keep him sound of mind.

All the better to serve the sun

Sometimes he likes to balance upon a beam and swing some poi. Sometimes he likes to dance. He always likes to dance. These things, he says, they see the body and mind well met and balanced.

All the better to serve the sun.

"Hello world" is usually the first words to come out of Craig's mouth each day unless another person is present to instigate some kind of interaction.
His last words are yet to be uttered.
